KUALA LUMPUR, 29 June 2005 - Leading direct selling company Amway (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Amway) today launched iCook™ – its new quality cookware range. Centered around the concept of cooking healthy to live better, the iCook™ Stainless Steel Cookware range combines premium grade materials, precision manufacturing and the latest cookware technologies to offer a brand new cooking experience.

At the launch event, Amway also announced its appointment of dynamic and well-known celebrity Chef Wan as the official brand ambassador for iCook™.

General Manager for Amway, Mr. Paul Yee said that with the increasing awareness to consume food that is safe and nutritious, more Malaysians are cooking their own meals. Reflective of this trend, iCook™ is backed by the latest technology and is equipped to bring healthy, wholesome food to the table; hence, the brand tagline of ‘Cook Healthier. Live Better’.

Chef Wan was on hand to provide guests with a demonstration that highlighted the benefits of cooking with the iCook™ system. A key highlight during the demonstration took place when Chef Wan demonstrated the versatility of iCook™ by stack cooking. This innovative feature allows for smaller size pans on top of larger ones to resulting in synchronized meal preparation – all on one stovetop. All in all, the iCook™ range offers seven different combinations of stack cooking.
